HTNYS Trustee Award

Leadership & Advocacy

HTNYS’ annual Trustee Leadership and Advocacy Award recognizes trustees who demonstrate a profound impact in the boardroom in terms of trustee skills, time commitment and knowledge required for effective decision making. HTNYS is especially interested in nominations on behalf of trustees who are taking a lead role in positioning their organization to meet the challenges of the current healthcare environment. Nominees should also demonstrate outstanding contributions in grassroots advocacy initiatives on behalf of a hospital or health system. HTNYS issues its call for nominations each spring and presents the award at HTNYS’ Annual Trustee Conference in the fall.
