Healthcare Leadership Advocacy Day 2015
March 4, 2015
Empire State Plaza Convention Center Lobby - Rooms 2-4
Please join HANYS, the allied associations, and Healthcare Trustees of New York State at our March 4 Annual Advocacy Day. This year’s state budget proposal will present an opportunity to achieve new investments and some fiscal relief from years of cuts. To accomplish our goal, we will need to have strong collective advocacy during the budget and entire legislative session, as billions of dollars will be at stake and controversial and complex legislation will be debated. Other groups will be quite vocal and will be competing for the same resources.
Each year, Advocacy Day has proven to be vitally important in influencing key health fiscal and policy decisions. This event is a critical component of our state budget advocacy. Engaging your legislators is key, and the importance of our message is in part demonstrated by your willingness to come meet with them in Albany.
Program check-in will begin at 8 a.m.
This event is for HANYS' members only.
Who Should Attend
Five to seven executive staff and trustees.
Registration Deadline
The registration deadline for this program is March 2.
If you have any questions regarding registration, please email learning@hanys.org.
